We have been blessed with an incredibly mild start of the Autumn, but let’s face it: the cold weather is just around the corner. For some this might mean the bad season is coming, for others that finally they will be able to sit in front of the fire relaxing, perhaps with a good book. What is certain is that if you are reading this there’s a big possibility you are passionate about wine and that whatever you will be doing, you will definitely enjoy a good natural wine glass (perhapes we could suggest one of our natural red wines?)! We selected four bottles that we think you should definitely try: that’s why we are offering them at a special price every week. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Casa Raia Bevilo 2013 Tuscany, Italy

If you love full bodied, balanced wines, this is the bottle for you: Bevilo is an incredible softly tannic red wine coming from the organic culture of Sangiovese Grosso, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties, united in a very special balanced harmony. This is a stunning classic in our e-commerce, a favourite for many of our customers thanks to the deep aromas and flavours (blackberry, raspberry, dark plum) and the long rich finish. It is suitable for vegans and produced in an environment completely free from pesticides and herbicides.

Biscaris Inzolia U’ Duca 2014 Sicily, Italy

We always make sure to list at least one natural white wine inside our monthly offer because lightness is one of the joys in life; and lightness is also the keyword to this fresh natural white wine, ideal for an aperitif and a relaxing pause. This outstanding light bodied, dry wine is made with 100% Inzolia grape variety coming from biodynamic farming, grown in the family-owned Biscaris estate in Sicily, in the very South of Italy: here, it is produced in no more than 20000 bottles. A true jewel, unmissable at this price!

Podere della Bruciata Ermete Rosso di Montepulciano 2011 Tuscany, Italy

Our third bottle this month is another incredible natural red wine: Ermete Rosso di Montepulciano comes from an organic farm near Siena, Tuscany, where the mix of Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Colorino Toscano grapes are grown in a vineyard at 550 m above the sea level. Only 4000 bottles of this Rosso di Montepulciano DOC are produced per year, don’t miss to get yours!

Guido Gualandi Rosato IGT Toscana 2013 Tuscany, Italy

Finally, we decided to end the month with a twist by choosing a natural rosé wine: every bottle of Rosato IGT produced by the Guido Gualandi farm encloses the uniqueness of the much loved Sangiovese grape variety, perfectly preserved by being organically grown and treated. This natural rosé wine is full bodied, dry and complex and carries notes of ripe red fruits, strawberry, cherry, apple, citrus and flowers.

Our monthly selection of natural wines deals ends here: this is a perfect occasion to try some of our unique wines at a special price and – why not? – get your first Christmas presents on the way to your house.
