CompareAbout the winemaker
The Domaine de Montcy is located in Cheverny, in the Loire Valley, close to the castles of Cheverny and Chambord, about 200 km south west of Paris. The vineyard covers 20 hectares of clay, silica and chalk soil. Laura Semeria, originally from Italy, acquired the domain in 2007. She produces red, white, rosé and sparkling wines within three appellations: AOC Cheverny, AOC Cour-Cheverny and AOC Crémant de Loire. She grows Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Romorantin for the white varieties and Gamay, Pinot Noir and Malbec for the red ones. Domaine de Montcy is certified organic. The wines are made without additives.
