A fruity red wine made from 100% Dolcetto grapes: Steira Ovada is an outstanding example of natural dolcetto wine coming from strictly organic agriculture and is produced in the Rocco di Carpeneto farm, on the hills of Alto Monferrato, Piedmont. Well structured and full-bodied, each bottle of this wine carries all the attention to the environment and the passion for winemaking that make its production a true act of creativity. Spontaneous fermentation with only native yeast, then long maceration and ageing in wooden barrels. The name “Steira” comes from the ancient local dialect and means “star”.
