CompareMore about this wine
A Barbera red wine, dark in colour like the “Ratataura”, in local dialect “bat”, from which it gets the name. Made from 100% Barbera grapes organically grown, Ratataura is an outstanding example of Italian Barbera DOCG: the grapes are handpicked, then vinified in terracotta (clay) amphorae with the use of only native yeast and long maceration. After these processes, it ages for more than 20 months in amphorae again. Unfined, unfiltered, it does not contain added sulphites.
