CompareAbout the winemaker
La Visciola is one of the main wineries in Lazio, the central region of Italy where Rome is located too. Here, in their family farm, Rosa, Piero and the two daughters Elisa and Cecilia produce some outstanding examples of Cesanese del Piglio DOCG wines; among them, Vicinale, made from 100% Cesanese grape – an autochthone grape variety that today is being recovered in the zone – coming from biodynamic agriculture. The result is an excellent and very drinkable natural wine, enjoyable and versatile in the food matches, produced in just 5000 bottles.
