About the winemaker

Smooth and fresh red wine with volcanic notes in the mouth. Made from 75% Piedirosso and 25% Aglianico grapes organically and biodynamically grown in Località Cacciagalli, Campania: the grapes are handpicked, then the wine is spontaneously fermented with wild yeasts in cement and aged there. Unfiltered and unclarified, it keeps intact all the typical organoleptic properties that make of it the perfect bottle to accompany second dishes and red meat delicacies. I Cacciagalli is a family winery dating back to 1600: here, Diana Iannaccone and Mario Basco produce wines with an attention to nature and the environment and passion for the recovery of traditional techniques (e.g. ageing in amphorae).
