Pure and ripe cherry notes with a touch of smoke on the nose. Light structure, fresh and intense. This wine should age gracefully for another ten years in a good cellar.

About the winemaker

Domaine Barmès Buecher is located in Wettolsheim, in the Alsace region, in north-east France. The domain was created in 1985 by Geneviève Barmès (née Buecher) and François Barmès with vineyards that had been in their families since the 17th century. Ten years later, they converted the domain’s 16 hectares to biodynamic viticulture. The children, Sophie and Maxime, joined the family business in 2011, following the sudden death of their father François. Nowadays, Genevieve, Sophie and Maxime produce red, white and sparkling wines, among the best in Alsace.
